After a five month off season the McCosker Super Sedan series will roar back into action this Saturday the 9th of October with a field of 18 cars making the trip to Autobarn Carina Speedway.
Headlining the 18 car field will be defending series champion Sean Black who will no doubt be looking to start his championship defensive with a strong result after winning last time out at Carina Speedway. Former national title winners Steve Jordan and Mick Nicola are also heading to Bundaberg to begin there seasons.
Three rookies to the McCosker Super Sedan Series will make their debut on Saturday night. Mitchel Gee will take over the Ian Boettcher Race Parts Q36 Dominator after the retirement of Darren Kane at the end of last season. Michael Larsen moves up to Super Sedans from Production Sedans after purchasing the former Sweet Chassis house car campaigned by Matthew Pascoe over the last two seasons. Lastly circuit racer Zak Hudson will be driving the Phil Laird owned Bullet Chassis.
A large Rockhampton contingent will make the trip to Bundaberg with Leigh and Matt Williams, Glen Knox, Brendan Doyle and Michael Larsen.
Drivers will contest 3 rounds of heats each and all will start the 30 lap final
