Twenty drivers are set to contest rounds three and four of the series, with the potential to return home on Sunday night ten thousand dollars richer.
Darren Kane was victorious in the opening round at Toowoomba last Friday night, and will look to continue his strong start to the season with another feature race win this weekend aboard his Ian Boettcher Race Parts Dominator Chassis.
Mitchell Gee finished as the runner up in the season opener at Toowoomba, and will hope to go one better this weekend to take home the prize money in his Titan Garages Sweet Chassis.
Former National Champion Trent Wilson was fourth across the line in Toowoomba, and will return to the site of his National Title triumph this weekend looking to take the big money back to Townsville.
Sam Hughes rounded out the top five last weekend, and will look to continue his strong start to the season and take his Insane Chassis closer to the front in Gympie this weekend.
Brad Pascoe will head to Gympie this weekend seeking his first victory at the venue of his career. Pascoe is no stranger to big money victories after claiming in excess of $40000 in Tasmania last season, and will look to secure another $5000 pay day this weekend.
Looking to bounce back from tough opening weekends will be JJ Hamilton, Hayden Brims, and Matty Pascoe.
Hamilton was on the podium at Gympie last season, Brims and Pascoe both claimed victories on the ‘Mountain’ and will be hoping to translate that form into a $5000 pay day this weekend.
