Sean Black has taken out the main event during Round Three of the 2019/2020 McCosker Super Sedan Series held at the Rockhampton Showgrounds on Saturday Night.
Local Justin Smithwick aboard his recently acquired Sweet Chassis controlled the race at the front of the field and looked set for one of the biggest wins of his career.
On lap twenty six Smithwick’s run came to an end as he spun to the infield with a collapsed right front shock the cause of his misfortune.
Sean Black would hold off National Champion Matt Pascoe and Justin Randall who applied plenty of pressure throughout.
The third round was supported by Rockhampton Mazda with round four to be held in Brisbane on the 30th November 2019.
