Brad Pascoe wins a close contest from his father - Mat to take the 2024/25 Championship win.The series came down to the wire in Rockhampton with 2 rounds of the championship and 600 points on offer and the ability for any of the Top 5 in the championship to take the win noting that Brad was unable to compete due to car issues and was sitting on 1652 points which included (50 Bonus Points from him taking out 5 x Fastest Lap in Feature of 10 points).Unfortunately with the first night of racing rained out this left only Mat Pascoe having the ability to pass Brad and win the championship.Mat gave it everything and had a stellar night picking up 249 points out of a possible 270 points in Night 2 and coming home in 2nd Place in the Feature behind Joel Berkley.In the end it was Brad on 1652 points by 28 points followed by Mat on 1624 points and Harry Doyle in third place on 1509 points.
