Black got the best of the initial start, before Pascoe powered around the outside of Pagel’s corner, and edged into the lead before the first caution of the race reared its head.
Gee, Kane, Jordan, Randall and Taylor were all involved, and the incident would bring about the demise of Jordan’s, Randall’s and Taylor’s races before they got going.
Pascoe repeated the dose on the complete restart to lead lap one from Black, Matty Pascoe, Doyle, and Gee.
Black found himself under immense pressure from Matty Pascoe in the battle for second, as Gee looked to fend off the challenge of Zac Pascoe in the battle for fifth.

Gee after thwarting the challenge of Zac Pascoe, took the challenge to Doyle in fourth and took the position with twenty three laps remaining.
Brad Pascoe made his way comfortably through lap traffic, but Matty was able to bridge the gap, and shorten the lead to just a second.
Meanwhile Zac Pascoe after pressuring Doyle for fifteen laps finally took fourth position right before the caution flag flew for a spinning Hally with ten laps to run.
Black after running third exited the race from the podium position.
Gee took second from Matty Pascoe on the restart with nine laps remaining.
Wilson after running in the back half of the top ten for duration of the race got a great restart and entered the top five with eight laps to run.
