Fresh off back to back victories at Gympie Speedway, Tasmanian Champion Brad Pascoe will enter as one of the red hot favourites for the event.
Pascoe had never claimed victory at Gympie prior to last weekend, and will look to claim his first victory at Gladstone this weekend.
Matty and Zac Pascoe shared the minor placings on the podium in Gympie, and will look to knock Brad off of his perch this Saturday night in Gladstone.
National Champion Darren Kane had a challenging opening night at Gympie, but has already claimed a victory this season when he won the opening round at Toowoomba.
Kane will hope to return to victory lane in Gladstone this weekend.
Sean Black was on the money in Gympie on the opening night, before his motor over heated, ending his weekend early. Black will hope his return to form continues this weekend and he can claim his first win of the season.
Jye O’Brien will make his Gladstone debut this weekend, and after impressing with a podium finish in the opening round at Toowoomba, O’Brien will look to go two better and claim his first feature win in more than ten years.
Victorian Mick Nicola had a good first night out in his new car at Toowoomba, and will look to build on that and edge towards the front at Gladstone this weekend.
Joel Berkley impressed in his Super Sedan debut at Toowoomba aboard the Bob McCosker owned Dominator Chassis. Berkley will get valuable seat time this weekend and look to claim the first top five finish of his young Super Sedan career.
Tania Smith, Rob Hamilton, Keith Muller, Darren Saunders and Jamie Williams will all join the field for the first time this season, and will hope to get their seasons off to a strong start.
Drivers will face three rounds of heats contested over eight laps to set the field for the thirty five lap main event.
